2024 Black Powder Team Series Events
Welcome to Wyoming's newest amateur golf event!

A series of one-day, team golf tournaments held at courses throughout Wyoming.

Each event is intended to be social yet competitive with plenty of camaraderie.

36 Team Max (host course may add teams) at each event w/two different formats, Best Ball & Chapman. First and Second place gross and net finishers from each flight qualify for series championship in September. 3 regular events x 8 teams = 24 automatic qualifiers.

Each entry includes 36 holes of golf, lunch, and tee prizes. Optional practice round and slugfest entry.

Credit book payout at host facility for top 3 finishers gross and net. Trophies awarded to the low gross and low net teams at each regular season event Participation points awarded for entry in each event.

The highest 4 non-automatic qualifiers receive invitation to the series championship in September.

All qualifying teams in the Series Championship will receive a complimentary team entry and lodging at the Best Western Devils Tower Inn in downtown Hulett, WY.

@ Kendrick Golf Course - Sheridan, WY
Much like the conflicts that ensued back in the 1890s between cattle barons and local ranchers, this on-course battle will take place in both Johnson and Sheridan counties at famed golf courses, Buffalo Golf Club and Kendrick Golf Course. It is sure to be war fueled with competitors wishing to claim their stake as “Kings of the North” and a ticket to the series championship at The Golf Club at Devils Tower in September.
July 26: The Twister

Well-known for the strong prevailing winds, Casper Wyoming will play host to the second eventof the Black Powder Team Series this year. Many a golf shooter has come to Paradise Valley Country Club with aspirations of taming not only the golf course, but also the “festive” environment…only to be spun out and sent home battered and beaten. Only the most resilient will find themselves atop the podium for The Twister, and an invitation to the Black Powder Team Series championship at The Golf Club at Devils Tower in September.
August 9: The Senator

Cody, Wyoming – well known around the country for its rich, western heritage and abundant outdoor recreation, but in the world of politics, Cody is known for two legendary Senators. Senators Alan “Al” Simpson in the U.S. Senate and Henry “Hank” Coe in the Wyoming State Senate have a combined 54 years of service to our great state. Both men are distinguished for their grit, captivating storytelling, remarkable quick wit, and an unrelenting persistence for victory. It will take all these characteristics for teams to enact a victory and find themselves signed into the series championship at The Golf Club at Devils Tower in September.
